TATTOO AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Always wash your hands before caring for your new tattoo.

Keep the bandage on for no more than 30 minutes (DO NOT REWRAP IT).
You may see blood or clear fluid under the bandage. This is normal.
Remove the bandage slowly and wash the tattoo with unscented antibacterial soap and water, then apply a thin layer of ointment to the tattoo.
Use ointment for a week. Apply only a small amount of ointment 3 to 5 times a day and always wash your tattoo with unscented antibacterial soap and water before applying a new layer.
Also, use clean bed linens and bath towels throughout the healing period.
After a week of using the ointment, switch to an unscented lotion. Alcohol is used to add scent to the lotion, which will cause the ink to dry and scab.
Yes, you can (and should!) shower with a new tattoo. It's okay to get your tattoo wet, but don't soak or scrub it. To clean it, apply a small amount of unscented antibacterial soap to your hand and gently rub it over the tattoo. Soaking your tattoo in a bathtub or hot tub can cause serious damage, so avoid it for 2 to 3 weeks. Showering is perfectly fine as long as it doesn't saturate your tattoo. Swimming in a pool, freshwater, or saltwater should be avoided for at least 2-3 weeks.
As your new tattoo heals, it will be very itchy.
DO NOT PICK OR PICK YOUR TATTOO. It will peel, but it will let the dead skin fall off on its own. At this stage, your tattoo is almost healed, and now is not the time to ruin it!
Tanning will NOT be good at the tattoo site during the healing phase, and it is suggested to use sunscreen on shiny tattoos after 2 weeks of healing to preserve their color. Going to the gym is fine, but protect your tattoo from gym equipment and germs.
